Got up real early this morning to capture the sun coming up upon Art Hill in Forest Park which is adorned with over 7021 flags each commemorating the 7021 soldiers killed in the line of battle since 9-11. Starting at 9:11pm on Sat Sept 10, a veterans group began announcing each deceased soldiers name and ringing a bell after each. Ten hours later at 7:09 am on Sept. 11 they finished and I was there to capture that too!
